Girls from all of ASB’s programs have been focusing on a variety of character building lessons related to our acronym for S T R O N G. Starting out with Strong Girls Can Be SUCCESSFUL for 2019, all groups have complete lessons on being TRUSTWORTHY. Here are several images of girls learning about being trustworthy.

All 3 ASB programs made special St. Patrick’s Day cards and treats for members or former members of our military branches. We focused on the importance of experiencing and expressing gratitude for those who have served our country in various ways. From special cards to making energy balls for local Veterans, the girls of ASB were indeed a blessing to many this winter!
ASB girls and leaders have been busy elves this fall preparing gifts to share with others in need in our community. From crafting chocolate dipped pretzels and goody bags of food for homeless folks and veterans, to sewing fleece baby hats for teen moms, to raising money by making blankets for a Bend High fundraiser for a beloved teacher battling cancer – the girls of ASB have been sharing love around Bend just as they have been loved by many of you! We wish all of our supporters and encouragers a very Merry Christmas. We look forward to meeting more of you as volunteers, financial supporters, prayer warriors or participants in 2016! We need you to help us care for others in the coming year!
November 13 and we are off and running with all three 2015/16 ASB programs! Our new “Free to Be Me” theme is already super fun to “unpack” as the girls understand more about how special and unique they each are! Don’t you love these young women and how they are making the world a better place? (see below)
